Chapter 10 - The Queen on the Throne

Six months later, the luxury villa where it all began was unrecognizable. The dark, suffocating draperies had been ripped down, replaced by sweeping glass walls that flooded every room with brilliant, unyielding sunlight.
Arthur Vance sat on the balcony, watching his daughter walk through the pristine marble foyer. There were no tears now. No bleeding hands, no broken glass, no trembling fear.
Chloe stepped out onto the terrace, holding two crystal glasses filled with sparkling water. She handed one to her father, sitting down in the chair Elena once used as a throne of cruelty.
"The global restructuring is complete," Chloe said softly, clinking her glass against her father's. "Vance International’s stock is at an all-time high. And Elena is currently serving a twenty-year sentence in a maximum-security federal penitentiary with no parole."
Arthur looked at his daughter—not as a protective father shielding a little girl, but as an equal, a peer, and the undisputed titan of a multi-billion-dollar empire. A proud, genuine smile touched his lips.
"You know, Chloe," Arthur murmured, looking out over the sprawling estate. "When I saw you on that floor scrubbing marble months ago... I thought my world was ending."

Chloe took a slow sip of her drink, her eyes gleaming with absolute, unshakable power as she stared into the horizon.
"It wasn't an ending, Dad," she replied, her voice smooth and cold as ice. "It was just the foundation."
