"Mother!" Alejandro roared, lunging across the desk like a wild animal. He tackled Hector Vance through the glass balcony doors, sending both men crashing out onto the second-story terrace in a shower of sharp glass and rain.

On the rain-slicked terrace, Alejandro and Hector fought with brutal, primitive fury. Hector slashed at Alejandro with a broken glass shard, cutting his cheek, but Alejandro grabbed Hector by the throat, driving him back against the stone railing.
"This is for my family!" Alejandro screamed, lifting Hector over the edge and pitching the crime lord twenty feet down onto the marble plaza below.
