Chapter 20 - The New DawnThree years later.

The Park Hyatt Manhattan grand lounge was bustling with high-society patrons enjoying afternoon tea. The live grand piano played a smooth, elegant jazz standard—the very same melody Sarah had heard over the phone on that fateful Thanksgiving night years ago.
Only this time, the music didn't hold any pain. It was just background noise to a life of triumph.
Sarah Vance sat at a corner table by the floor-to-ceiling glass windows, sipping sparkling cider from a crystal glass. Beside her sat a bubbly, energetic four-year-old girl with bright curls, coloring happily in a sketchpad.
"Mommy, look! I drew our new house!" Maya exclaimed proudly, holding up a crayon drawing of a bright, sunlit penthouse with flowers on the balcony.
Sarah smiled warmly, kissing her daughter's forehead. "It's beautiful, sweetheart. Just like the real one."
Her phone buzzed on the table. A notification from Vance-Carter Properties: Annual shareholder meeting record-breaking profits exceeded by 45%.
Sarah locked her phone, placed it face down on the table, and looked out across the magnificent Manhattan skyline gleaming beneath the autumn sun. She had lost a cheating husband and a toxic friend, but in return, she had found her true strength, reclaimed her family's legacy, and built an empire that could never be shaken.

"Happy Thanksgiving."
