Chapter 5 - NIGHT AT THE SAFEHOUSEWithin thirty minutes, an armored limousine escorted by two dark sedans pulled into the subterranean garage of a high-security penthouse overlooking the city.

Grace walked through the grand marble foyer, holding Chloe’s hand in sheer disbelief. Millions of dollars in artwork lined the walls, and a massive Christmas tree filled the two-story living room, covered in hand-blown glass ornaments.
"Who are you?" Grace whispered, turning to James as a butler presented Chloe with a tray of fresh pastries and warm milk.
"My full name is James Sterling," he said, taking off his wet coat. "My family owns the corporation that framed you. My father died under suspicious circumstances three years ago when he tried to stop my uncle Richard's illegal operations. I went into hiding to gather evidence... until tonight."
Chloe sat on the plush velvet sofa, wrapped in a cashmere blanket, happily sipping hot chocolate. "Is this Santa's house?" she asked innocently.
James smiled warmly at the little girl, a rare softness breaking through his stern demeanor. "Something like that, Chloe."
He turned back to Grace. "Tomorrow morning, Richard is holding the annual Sterling Christmas Gala. He intends to announce his total takeover of the corporation. But I have the evidence to ruin him—and clear your name forever. The only problem is, I need your testimony."
