Chapter 8 - EXPOSING THE MONSTERGasps echoed through the room as news cameras frantically swung toward James.

"James?" Richard sneered, his composure slipping for a fraction of a second before regaining his arrogant grin. "You're delusional. Guards, escort this trespasser out!"

None of the guards moved. James’s security team had already neutralized Richard's hotel staff.

"Three years ago, my father was murdered because he discovered a fifty-million-dollar embezzlement ring," James announced, his voice carrying clearly to every television camera in the room. "And Richard didn't just kill my father—he framed an innocent, hardworking mother named Eleanor Vance to cover his tracks!"

James held up a encrypted drive and plugged it directly into the ballroom's master AV console.

Instantly, the massive screens behind the stage lit up. Audio recordings played loudly—Richard’s voice clearly ordering the hit on James's father, followed by financial ledgers showing the offshore accounts where the stolen millions were transferred.

The crowd erupted into chaos. Investors shouted in outrage, and reporters flooded the stage with flashing cameras.

Richard’s face twisted with rage. Seeing his empire crumble in seconds, he pulled a snub-nosed revolver from inside his tuxedo jacket and aimed it straight at James.
