Chapter 19 - THE UNSPOKEN VOWThat evening, after the summit concluded and the international press had packed their cameras, I returned to my private estate in Lake Geneva.

The house was quiet, bathed in the warm, golden glow of sunset. I walked into Alexander’s nursery, where he was sleeping peacefully, clutching a small toy truck in his tiny hand. I brushed a lock of dark hair from his forehead, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek.
"You'll never have to shrink yourself for anyone, my sweet boy," I whispered into the quiet room.
Downstairs, Julian was waiting for me on the terrace with two crystal flutes of champagne. As I walked out to join him, he wrapped his arms around me, pulling me close against his heart.
