The board of directors voted unanimously to appoint me as the permanent Global Chief Executive Officer, solidifying my position not just as a trustee, but as the undisputed titan of the industry.

Marcus walked into my office one afternoon, holding two airline tickets.

"Zurich," Marcus said, tossing the tickets onto my desk. "The European branch needs a complete structural overhaul following Victor’s arrest. The board wants you there in person to sign off on the new international charter."

I picked up the tickets, looking at the embossed gold lettering. "When do we leave?"

"Tomorrow morning," Marcus smiled. "Pack your best suits. No more domestic drama. Just global expansion."
