Chapter 10 - Dawn of a New LegacyForty-eight hours later, high above the Swiss Alps, a private Bombardier Global jet cut smoothly through the morning clouds, heading back toward the Napa Valley estate.

The raid on the Zurich holding facility had been swift, devastating, and entirely successful. Backed by international federal authorities alerted by Ethan's encrypted data-dumps, the entire black-site network funding Project Genesis had been raided, seized, and permanently dismantled.
Inside the luxurious cabin of the jet, the sunlight streamed through the oval windows, warming the plush leather seats.
Claire sat by the window, watching the jagged snow-capped peaks give way to rolling green valleys below. The twins were sleeping soundly in a custom bassinet secured across from her.
Ethan sat beside her, holding her hand. The rough, calloused grip of a man who had fought tooth and nail to protect his world felt steady and warm.
"We're almost home," Ethan said softly.
Claire leaned her head gently against his shoulder, a small, genuine smile gracing her lips. "I never imagined we'd find our way back here, Ethan. After everything... how did you forgive me so fast?"

Ethan looked down at his twin sons, then back at the woman who had risked everything to shield them from a terrifying world.
"You didn't run away because you stopped loving me, Claire," Ethan whispered, kissing the top of her head. "You ran because you loved them more than anything else in the world. And that's the kind of strength I never want to live without again."
