Chapter 30 - The Reign of the Architect

The sun dipped below the Manhattan skyline, painting the horizon in magnificent strokes of amber, violet, and deep crimson. I stood on the private balcony of my penthouse, the warm evening breeze stirring my hair as I looked out over the endless expanse of the city I had conquered.

Life had tried to break me, to trap me, to reduce me to a footnote in a predator's grand design. But every obstacle they placed in my path had only served as the raw material for something infinitely stronger, sharper, and more enduring.
