Chapter 15 - THE FAMILY REUNITED

The flight back to New York felt like a dream. Elena sat by the window of the private jet, watching the clouds pass beneath them, while Rachel quietly filled her in on everything she had missed—Chloe’s bravery on Cedar Street, the birth of the twins, the warm Westchester estate, and the unbreakable bond they had fought so hard to reclaim.
When the jet touched down and drove through the gates of the Westchester estate, the sun was setting, painting the sky in brilliant hues of violet and gold.
As the car door opened, eight-year-old Chloe, four-year-old Noah, and little Tyler came running across the lawn, shouting with joy.
Elena stepped out of the vehicle, stepping onto the grass. She looked down as Chloe ran up to her, holding out a handmade flower crown.
"Are you our big sister?" Chloe asked, her eyes wide with excitement. "Daddy and Mama said you were coming!"
Elena knelt down, a radiant smile breaking across her face as she took the flower crown and placed it gently on her head. "Yes, I am," she whispered, pulling Chloe into a warm hug while Noah and Tyler crowded around them, giggling.
James and Rachel stood on the wooden porch, watching their complete family laughing together under the weeping willows.

"We finally have all of them," Rachel whispered, leaning her head against James's shoulder as a profound sense of peace settled over her soul.
James wrapped his arms tightly around her, looking out at the children. "And no one will ever take them away again."
