It was funded by an intricate web of dormant offshore accounts linked directly to hidden assets Grant had concealed prior to his arrest—assets that Vanessa Cole had secretly managed during their affair.
"They're setting up a hostile liquidity squeeze," Maddie whispered to herself, tracing the intricate flow of capital across the digital spreadsheet. "They plan to trigger a margin call right before tomorrow's emergency board vote."
Suddenly, the house’s automated security system chimed softly—a single, low-frequency beep originating from the perimeter gate at the edge of the property.
