Two hours later, a heavily armed federal tactical convoy—led by Mia and accompanied by Arthur in an armored command vehicle—sped down the deserted interstate highway toward the coordinates provided by Marcus.
The night sky was pitch black, lit only by the sweeping beams of the tactical headlights cutting through the desert dust.
