Fifteen minutes later, the convoy arrived at the coordinates of the abandoned Cold War bunker carved deep into the side of a desolate mountain range.
The massive blast doors were rusted and covered in desert vines, but the tactical engineering team made quick work of the lock, placing a linear shaped charge along the hinges.

The heavy steel doors blew inward in a cloud of white smoke and dust. Mia and Arthur stepped inside, switching on their tactical helmet lights.
As the powerful beams cut through the gloom, both of them stood completely frozen in absolute astonishment.
