Chapter 4 - The Corporate Execution

The notification on Christopher’s phone was a legal injunction, but it was only the beginning of a digital avalanche. Within seconds, his screen flooded with alerts: bank accounts frozen, executive access revoked, and corporate communications locking him out of the Vextor Dynamics server.
Christopher stared at the screen, his face turning an alarming shade of grey. He tapped open an email from the corporate board of directors, marked URGENT: IMMEDIATE REMOVAL.
"No," Christopher muttered, his eyes darting across the lines of text. "No, this is impossible. I’m the majority shareholder. I signed the restructuring—"
"You signed away your controlling leverage the moment you handed over those asset divisions to Victoria in the divorce settlement," a calm, familiar voice echoed from the doorway of the foyer.
Everyone turned. Standing in the entrance, casually dressed in a tailored charcoal suit and holding a thick leather briefcase, was Victoria. She hadn't flown to Phoenix; she had arrived in a private charter jet just an hour after Evelyn, tracking every second of the trap she had meticulously built.
"Victoria," Christopher choked out, taking a step forward. "You... what did you do?"
"I didn't do anything illegal, Christopher," Victoria said, walking past the stunned relatives with absolute poise. She stopped a few feet away from him, looking at him with cold, clinical detachment. "You were so focused on gloating over your new family that you didn't read the fine print of the asset split. When you transferred your secondary holdings to cover your debts to me, you triggered a dormant clause in Vextor’s corporate charter. A clause I authored five years ago."
Victoria opened her briefcase and pulled out a single document, holding it up for the room to see.
"Any transfer of controlling shares outside of direct lineage or approved corporate restructuring automatically reverts voting rights to the primary financial architect of the firm," Victoria recited smoothly. "That’s me, Christopher. As of ten minutes ago, the board voted unanimously to strip you of your CEO title, lock you out of all company accounts, and initiate a federal audit into your illicit fund transfers with Michelle’s shell companies."

Michelle lunged forward, her face twisted with fury. "You bitch! You planned all of this! You ruined us!"
"I didn't ruin you, Michelle," Victoria replied, not even flinching as the other woman approached. "You built a life on stolen foundations, forged paperwork, and biological deception. I simply removed the scaffolding."
