My phone vibrated in my pocket. A text message from Aria Chen: The trap is set. Walk in through the front.

I buttoned my gray suit—the very same one Rosa had repaired for me weeks ago—and crossed the cobblestone driveway. As I walked up the marble steps, the chatter among the socialites died instantly. Whispers rippled through the crowd like wind through dry grass.
